Gordon R. Fischer is a shareholder with the law firm Bradshaw, Fowler, Proctor & Fairgrave, P.C. in Des Moines. He previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Maynard J.V. Hayden of the Iowa Court of Appeals. Gordon served as Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party from 2002 to 2004. He has managed and consulted on numerous campaigns. Gordon has served on the boards of Drake University Head Start, the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Services, and the Iowa Defense Counsel Association. He has also been active in the 21st Century Forum, the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, several committees of the Iowa State Bar Association and Polk County Bar Association, and as a volunteer at St. Catherine of Sienna Church. Gordon graduated summa cum laude from Southern Illinois University School of Law, and was a law journal editor and moot court team captain. He did his undergraduate work at The University of Iowa, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English. Gordon is very happily married to Monica Seigel Fischer.
